Wholesale Motorcycle Helmets

Your riding gear is designed to keep you safe and when it comes to saving lives your helmet is the most important piece of equipment you can buy. Great news! You can buy wholesale motorcycle helmets online and save substantially.

In some parts of the world a helmet is still optional but many parts of the world recognize how important your helmet is and thus have made it law to have to wear a helmet.

And sadly in the areas where it is still optional there are still 10% of the riders that don't wear one. They have all kinds of reasons including their budget can't afford it; I like my freedom, and the justification that you could get hurt worse. Others simply don't know the risks. Sadly this 10% has a very high risk of dying or being seriously injured if they are involved in an accident.

Studies have proven that not only do helmets save lives they reduce the risk of injury to the head, neck, and face. There's a favorite saying among riders and although you might find it a bit morbid it really is quite close to the truth. Riders ask "Have you been in an accident or are you on your way to one?

And don't be fooled by that good deal used helmet. A used helmet is of no value because you don't really know if it has ever been dropped or damaged. And your noggin is far too important to take such a risk. Since you can buy wholesale online why even take the risk?

The construction, style, and materials used in helmets varies from one manufacturer to another but in the end they are all designed to protect your neck and head from impact, friction, and crushing.

With so many different styles to choose from finding one that's comfortable won't be difficult. The type of helmet will indicate what type of protection you will get. Here are your options from most protection to least.

1. Flip Up Helmet
This is a helmet that will protect your entire head including chin, face, eyes, ears, neck, and head. It offers more protection than any other style helmet and it also helps keep debris away from your face like bugs, rocks, dirt, and dust. The flip up means you don't have to remove your helmet to grab a drink and the peripheral vision is much better. If I had to name a couple of disadvantageous price would be one and since it covers the ears it can muffle noises that you should hear.

2. Full Face Helmet
This helmet protect your entire head, face, chin, ears, neck, and eyes offering as much protection as the flip face helmet. It offers more protection than any other style helmet and it also helps keep debris away from your face like bugs, rocks, dirt, and dust. It give great peripheral vision and offers great crash protection. If I had to give a negative it would be that it can be inconvenient for those that wear eye glasses since you can't get the helmet on while wearing them.

3. ¾ Open Face Helmet
Will protect your head, neck, eyes, and ears and it's the third best helmet on the market. One convenience is you don't have to remove your helmet so much since you can just flip up your face shield. It also is much easier to take off and there is not blockage of your peripheral vision. If I had to list a disadvantage I would have to say that your chin, teeth, and nose don't get adequate protection and it doesn't keep bugs, debris, and rain off as good as a full face helmet.

4. Half Helmet
This style will protect the side and top of your head including your ears. It offers more protection than a beanie but not nearly as much as many other styles. It's easy to put on, it doesn't interfere with drinking or other tasks, and it never blocks your peripheral vision. If I was to list a negative issue I would say that noise is a problem because you have no ear protection and you don't get proper protection for your neck, ears, eyes, teeth, chin, or face.

5. Beanie Bowl
The beanie sometimes called a pudding protects just the top of your head and offers only a minimum amount of protection. There is definitely no vision blockage here and it is the cheapest helmet on the market. The negative is fairly obvious. Lack of protection is all accounts and many do not even have DOT approval. But it is still better than no helmet if you can master skidding on the top of your head.

You took a great deal of time to do your research and buy the right bike. You never skimped, you never thought about settling for anything less than the best.

Now when it comes to your noggin and your safety give it the same respect. Buy a helmet that will protect your noggin and look great with your great looking bike.
